Terms and Conditions

Registration

  1. Profile Approval: We exclusively accept public profiles. Private profiles will not be approved.
  2. Following @i.amdubai on Instagram:
    • To maintain eligibility for our events and stay updated with announcements, you must follow our official Instagram profile (@i.amdubai).
    • Like the first post and share in stories with the following information: “Join IAMDUBAI (LINK ON INSTA AND APP) an exclusive community to create the future of Dubai.”
  3. Application Process:
    • Please be aware that due to the high volume of applications we receive daily, the approval process may take some time. Your patience is appreciated.
  4. Waiting List:
    • Applicants not approved in the initial round will be placed on a waiting list for future event considerations.

 

Reservations

  1. Profile Selection:
    • Approval of your account does not guarantee attendance at all applied or reserved events. The management reserves the right to select profiles for each event.
  2. +1 Guest:
    • If you wish to bring a guest(s), please include their Instagram username(s) in the application form. Guest profiles must also be public. The registration process should be the same as for regular applicants; otherwise, your request will be automatically denied.
  3. Coordinated Applications:
    • If you plan to attend an event with a friend, please include their Instagram username as your +1, rather than applying separately.
  4. Responsibility:
    • You are responsible for ensuring that your +1 guest adheres to our terms, including posting stories during the event and following our guidelines. Failure to do so may result in suspension.

 

Invitations and Events

  1. Invitations:
    • Invitations are sent as follows:
      • For restaurant/hotel events, invitations are sent on the same day of the event, before 4 PM.
      • For other events, invitations are sent one day in advance.
  2. Details via Instagram/WhatsApp:
    • If your profile is selected for an event, you will receive an invitation with all the necessary details on your Instagram account and WhatsApp.
  3. Full Event:
    • If an event is marked as full, it means all invitations have been sent. In such cases, we recommend applying for another event or a different date.
  4. Inquiries:
    • We will not respond to questions regarding the timing of invitations or requests to send invitations to friends.

Stories and Social Media

  1. Story Requirements:
    • To attend our events, you must post a minimum of 3 stories during the event, not after.
    • The first story must be posted within the first hour of your arrival.
    • Stories must cover Ambiance/View, Food, and Entertainment. Mentioned content should be easily visible with a suitable font size and not placed in the top-left corner or hidden.
    • Ensure that you mention the venue’s Instagram account (not just # or location) and Instagram app @i.amdubai.
  2. Story Duration:
    • Stories must remain on your profile for 24 hours until they automatically disappear. Your profile cannot be set to private until after the stories have automatically expired; failing to comply will result in suspension.
  3. Quality and Organization:
    • Stories should be well-presented and organized. Selfie stories are not required.
  4. Guests’ Compliance:
    • All terms apply to your guests as well, and you must ensure they also post stories as per our terms with correct mentions.

Cancellations and Changes

  1. Reservation Cancellation:
    • If you wish to cancel a restaurant reservation, it must be done at least 4 hours in advance after receiving the invitation, or you will face suspension.
  2. General Cancellations:
    • Cancellations for other events must be made at least 12 hours in advance, not on the same day of the event in the morning.
  3. Changing Guests:
    • Any changes to your +1 guest require prior approval from us. Without our approval, changes are not allowed, or suspension may occur. If your +1 guest cancels, please inform us promptly.
  4. Cancellation Method:
    • Cancellations can only be made through Instagram Chat or via WhatsApp; there is no cancellation option on the App/Website.

During Event

  1. Punctuality:
    • You are allowed a maximum of 15 minutes of lateness; beyond that, the restaurant may refuse entry.
  2. Invitation Requirement:
    • To gain entry, you must present the original invitation on Instagram Chat; screenshots are not accepted.
  3. Minimum Stay:
    • Each event requires a minimum stay of 2 hours.
  4. Confidentiality:
    • It is forbidden to inform any restaurant guest that you are attending a complimentary event.

Suspension

  1. Non-Compliance:
    • Failure to follow the terms mentioned above may result in suspension.
  2. Late Cancellation:
    • Late cancellations will result in a one-week suspension, and you will be informed.
  3. Unauthorized Guest Changes:
    • Changing your +1 without approval will result in a two-week suspension.
  4. No Show:
    • Failure to attend an event without prior cancellation will result in a suspension lasting 2 to 3 weeks.
  5. Failure to Post Stories:
    • If you or your guests do not post stories as required, you will face a one-month suspension.
  6. Early Removal of Stories:
    • Removing stories or setting your profile to private before 24 hours from the last story will result in a one-week suspension, and you will be informed.
  7. Early Departure:
    • Leaving an event before the minimum 2-hour stay may result in a two to three-week suspension.
  8. Excessive Lateness:
    • Being more than 15-20 minutes late for an event may result in a one-week suspension, and you will be informed.
